In the Bubble unit students will learn that bubbles are bits of air trapped inside a liquid ball, and that they are always round. They will learn why bubbles pop and how to even catch one. They will experience stretching and bending bubbles and how to make a bubble pop slowly.
Enrichment activities are offered at the end of each experiment. They will encourage students to try using different surfaces while conducting an experiment. Will the results change? Students will learn how to make huge bubbles, and also how to make some bubbles shrink and grow. They will also be able to experience fun when they try pushing two bubble wands together and apart. They will also learn what type of weather will make bubbles last longer, and they will see something new in a bubble when they make one on a cold day.
